Migration lab

Disposable source and target instances for testing the importers and for comparing Nestejo with the Forgejo release it is based on.

GitLab is in the gitlab profile and is used by suite-gitlab.sh.

seed-forgejo.sh creates the source admin account and writes its token to .secrets/src.token. reset-target.sh recreates the Nestejo instance and writes its token to .secrets/dst.token. The suites call it before each run.

The source's ROOT_URL is http://lab-forgejo-src:3000/, an address the target container can reach. An import clones from the URL the source advertises, not from the URL passed to the importer.

NESTEJO_IMAGE selects the image under test. LAB_PREFIX, the LAB_PORT_* variables, LAB_DATA and LAB_NETWORK let a second copy of the lab run alongside the first. LAB_FORGEJO_VERSION sets the upstream Forgejo version used for comparison.

data/ and .secrets/ are not committed. Delete data/ to start over.
